Following the rapid spread of the corona virus, it was decided to crack down on those not wearing masks in Lahore, the capital of Punjab province.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Lahore Police Chief and Commissioner Lahore in which the Corona situation was discussed and important decisions were taken.
The Commissioner Lahore ordered strict implementation of the order to wear masks. According to Lahore Commissioner Muhammad Usman, those who do not wear masks will be detained. Those who do not wear masks can be jailed for six months.
He said that a case would be registered for non-wearing of mask and implementation of this order would start in Lahore today.
The Commissioner Lahore directed that the district administration and police would be on duty on the roads and the police and district administration should take action against Korona.
Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Ghulam Mehmood Dogar ordered that the government guidelines should be implemented in a meaningful manner and Corona SOPs should be implemented in marriage halls and public places.
