Hassan Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi’s superb bowling helped Pakistan beat South Africa by 98 runs in the Pindi Test to complete the whitewash in the two-match series.
On the last day of the game, South Africa started their second incomplete innings with Eden Markram (59) and Van der Dawson (48) batting first.
Hassan Ali first bowled Dawson for 127 and then sent Faf Duplessis to the pavilion for 135.
After Dupleix’s dismissal, a good 106-run partnership was formed between Markram and Tamba Bauma, during which Markram completed his century while Bauma scored a fifty. Markram made 108 runs and fell victim to Hassan Ali while Bauma was dismissed for 62 by Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Hassan Ali also bowled prostheses captain Quentin de Kock on the first ball while George Ali took the wicket of George Linde for his fifth wicket.
South Africa were all out for 274 in the second innings and Pakistan won the match by 98 runs.
For Pakistan, Hassan Ali got five wickets while Shaheen Shah Afridi got four wickets and Yasir Shah got one wicket.
Pakistan scored 272 in their first innings, in response to which the South African team piled up 201 runs in the first innings, while in the second innings, Pakistan scored 298 runs and South Africa won by 370 runs. It was ten.
Keep in mind that Pakistan has a zero lead in the two-Test series.
