Lahore: Muhammad Zahid has resigned from the post of bowling coach of National High Performance Center.
After becoming the National High Performance Center, the Pakistan Cricket Board made various appointments, including the appointment of former fast bowler Muhammad Zahid as bowling coach.
Like National High Performance Centre’s Head of International Players Development Thaqleen Mushtaq, Fielding and Wicket-Keeping Coach Atiq-ul-Zaman, Mohammad Zahid also resides in England and Mohammad Zahid went on holiday to his family in December after which he did not return. ۔
Sources said that Mohammad Zahid’s family did not want him to go to Pakistan and take over the responsibilities again and his family wanted to stay in England with Mohammad Zahid.
Muhammad Zahid was living alone in Lahore due to which he was forced to resign from his post.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said that Mohammad Zahid has resigned as the bowling coach of the National High Performance Center. He has resigned due to personal reasons and the appointment process for his replacement will begin soon.
