According to Arab media, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards tested long-range surface-to-sea missiles and drones, the fourth such demonstration by Iran in two weeks following recent tensions with the United States.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards tested a long-range ballistic missile on Saturday and fired it at a designated artificial target in the Indian Ocean in the eastern part of the country, covering a distance of 1,800 km.
On the missile test, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Baghari, said that the choice of a very long-range missile to hit the target at sea shows that if the enemies of Iranian ports, our national interest, maritime trade routes and lands If they do any sabotage, they will be targeted by missiles and destroyed.
“We have no intention of aggression, but with this experience, we declare that if there is any aggression against our country, it will be met with full force and in a short time,” he said.
On this occasion, the commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Hussain Salami, said that now a large military organization of the country is capable of targeting enemy warplanes and aircraft.
According to Arab media, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards also fired dozens of missiles on Friday, the location of which was an unknown desert area.
