World-renowned Colombian singer Shakira has sold the rights to a 145-song catalog in the wake of the Corona crisis.
Shakira has sold the rights to a 145-song catalog to the Hypnosis Song Fund in London.
In this regard, the investment firm says that the Corona crisis has severely damaged the revenue from the concert.
Shakira, a three-time Grammy Award-winning singer at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, has sold more than 80 million records.
Prior to Shakira, singers Neil Yang and Bob Dylan have also sold their catalog rights due to the corona virus cutting off live concert revenue.
Shakira, a 43-year-old singer, says she wrote to make the world feel at the age of 8 long before she started singing.
According to Shakira, every song reflects the person at the time it was written, but when a song comes out to the world, it is not only mine, but it belongs to everyone who praises it.
“I know that the Hypnosis Song Fund will be the best place for my song catalog,” Shakira said in a statement.
