Asian countries troubled by the Corona epidemic may soon face the threat of another emerging Nipah virus, which has a much higher mortality rate.
Virus researchers warn that if lessons are not learned from the corona virus epidemic, the Nipah virus has the potential to infect many people and the death rate from the virus has been estimated at 75%.
The Nipah virus, which starts with bats like the Sars Code 2, has spread to Malaysia, Singapore, India and Northern Australia in the last 20 years.
There is currently no vaccine that can specifically target Nipah virus infections.
According to available information, there have been deaths from Nipah virus in the Indian state of Kerala in 2018 while dozens of people were quarantined even then.
