QUETTA: The Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court Justice Tahira Safdar will take oath today on Balochistan High Court.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar has appointed Justice Tahira Safdar as Chief Justice of High Court, before the Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court Muhammad Noor Masokanzai, Tahir Safdar was awarded the Honorable Chief Justice for the first time in the country’s history. On August 31, last year, retired from his post.
Justice Syed Tahira Safdar was born on October 5, 1957 in Quetta. He is the leader of Syed Imtiaz Hussain Baqri Hanifi, he graduated from Law College Quetta in 1980 and became the first female civil judge in 1982, Tahira Safdar also has a Masters degree in Urdu literature from Baluchistan University, in 1987 he was the Senior Civil Judge In 1991, the Additional District and Session Judge and the District and Session Judges were set up in 1996.
