Rawalpindi: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has once again clarified that there will be no compromise on the security of CPEC.
According to DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor, Chinese ambassador to China Yujing met Pak Army Chief General Qamar Javaid Bajwa, discussing bilateral relations and security situation in the region.
The Chinese ambassador recently praised the Chinese Foreign Minister’s successful visit to Pakistan and CPEC in support.
On this occasion, the Army Chief said CPEC as the economic future of Pakistan, adding that there will be no compromise on the security of the Pak-China Economic Corridor Project.
It is clear that the British newspaper Financial Times in its report claimed that the government of Pakistan will re-examine the CPEC agreements with China, and in this respect the new terms will be fixed.
Abdul Razzaq Dawood, consultant trade at the Financial Times report, said that the newspaper has published his interview from contextually while in this regard the trade was said that the agreement between Pakistan and China on the future of CP is Pakistan. The CPEC is not rolling back, Pakistan has assured the Chinese External Affairs Minister that CPEC is a national priority plan.

Apart from this, the Chinese embassy rejected the report on the CPEC Financial Times, saying that there is a complete consensus on the economic transit between Pakistan and China that this project is beneficial for both the countries and both the governments are Pakistan. According to the requirements and progress will increase.
