LAHORE: India has rejected Pakistan’s objections on the Pokhal Dal and Lowerder Kulnai project on the river Chenab.

The two-day talks between the Pakistan Water Commissioners on Pak-India water dispute took place in Nespak headquarters Lahore. Pakistan Indicator Water Commissioner Meher Ali Shah headed the Pakistani team when the Indian delegation led by P.K Saxena.
India rejects Pakistan’s objections and said that Pakistan has failed to store its water, and it has not made any major dam after Tarbela and Mangla, due to which large quantity of water is sealed. Indian delegation said that due to climate change in India, there is a severe reduction in the flow of water in the rivers.
In the first round of talks, Pakistani authorities objected to the Pokhal Dull and Lowerder Kulnai power projects constructed on the river Chenab. Authorities said that the patterns of the Palk Dal Pan power plant and the pattern of leaving water from there should also be explained.
