KABUL: The resignation presented by Hanif Atmar, a close relative of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and national security adviser, was accepted.
Presidential spokesman Haroon confirmed that the resignation of the National Security Adviser Hanif Atmar accepted by the president.
In this context, there are narrators in circulation that Hanif Atmar resigned from the current post to get a better position in the next election.
The presidential spokesman told no explanation about resignation, but a copy of the resignation offered by Hanif Atmar was said that he had ‘severe reservations on the leadership and principles of the leadership’.
In this context, the close associate of Hanif Atmar told the condition of not to be named, “Former security adviser can contest against Ashraf Ghani in the next elections”.
Authorities said, “The next year they stood up in presidential elections, they made it standby.”
It is believed that Hanif Atmar, a 49-year-old political figure of Afghanistan, is considered to be the other powerful person and held a national security adviser in 2014.
Hanif Atmar was the Interior Minister in the former President Hamid Karzai’s government but when the Taliban attacked successful peace in 2010, they were resigned.
On the basis of the resignation presented by Hanif Atmar, Russia was rejected by the Afghan government a week before the efforts of peace talks in Afghanistan, which was expected to involve Taliban spokesman.
Hanif Atmar performs duties of security advisor in 1980, the Afghan government had a support from Russia, based on which Hanif Atmar is considered closer to the Russian leadership.
According to a presidential spokesman, Ashraf Ghani appointed National Security Advisor to Dr. Hamidullah Muhib, 35, Afghanistan ambassador to the US.
